Personally I never show a credential or pass, I try to have it hidden or turned around unless I am near security, so it’s out of sight when possible.

Another thing for the fans to be aware of, if you have your ID in a carrier to make it ‘easier’ to show your age (for drinks) or whatever, make sure there is a cover or something blocking most or all of the details. At an event recently, I captured a few females in the audience holding a sign and one of them had their driver license on a small purse with a clear plastic cover hanging from her wrist – I was able to view her full details from the DL number, including her full address from my photo.
